We are looking for one motivated and curious Engineering Co-op Student in Process to join our team for a 12-month term filled with learning, problem-solving, and meaningful projects.
This is not a typical co-op — you will be fully involved in real operations and projects:
- Acquire and use practical and technical knowledge of the processes related to Manufacturing of Insulation
- Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes.
- Complete tasks related to monitoring/trending and troubleshooting manufacturing processes
- Assist with troubleshooting and solving problems related to process efficiency and product quality.
- Assist in investigations through data compilation and statistical analysis to determine root cause to atypical events
- Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to monitor process performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
- Compilation and analysis of process data. Presenting results and preparing reports
- Assist in designing, testing, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Use of SAP enterprise software to source information and navigate business operations
You will also gain exposure to capital projects and advanced manufacturing technologies in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For
You are a driven engineering student who wants to learn, contribute, and grow:
- Must be a registered University Internship student within an Engineering Discipline and in good standings
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Software
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software tools
- Strong industrial and mechanical design aptitude is preferred
- Must possess strong critical thinking, problem solving, analyzing, and examining skills to find the best solutions to various situations
- Proven Health and Safety accountabilities
- Lean manufacturing training and experience
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
- Use of SAP enterprise software is an asset.
Previous exposure to Lean Manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage.
