An S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) Manager bridges demand, supply, and finance, ensuring monthly plans align with company goals. They lead cross-functional meetings, optimize inventory and production strategies, and use data analytics to drive decisions that enhance profitability. This role requires balancing demand forecasting with capacity, managing stakeholders, and improving supply chain efficiency.
In addition to developing Sales and Operations strategies, this position will drive the execution of these plans. Common tasks may include directly placing and tracking key raw material orders, managing various vendor order levels to optimize cost and inventory, gathering and summarizing sales forecasts, modeling and projecting supply/demand to assist with production and capacity planning, and developing supply/demand related strategies to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and reduce risk.
Essential Functions:
Process Facilitation: Lead monthly S&OP cycles, including demand review, supply review, and executive meetings to drive consensus.
Demand Planning: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to analyze demand trends, promotions, and new product launches to create a unified forecast.
Supply Planning: Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics to ensure production capacity meets demand while optimizing safety stocks.
Inventory & Financial Alignment: Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to align operational plans with financial targets.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and resolve supply-demand gaps and bottlenecks, presenting scenarios for executive decision-making.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Business or related field
Master's Degree Supply Chain Management, Business or related field
3-5 years' experience In Supply Chain, Demand Planning or Production Planning
1-3 years' experience In Industrial or Manufacturing setting
Strong ability to interpret data, build statistical models, and use forecasting tools
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QAD) and Advanced Planning Systems (APS).
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Operations) and senior leadership.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $102,000.00 to $158,000.00 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $115,200.00-TTC to $178,500.00-TTC. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
