WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The HR Generalist provides comprehensive Human Resources support to a dynamic, multishift manufacturing environment. Will partner closely with frontline leaders, employees, operations, and HR leadership to strengthen employee relations, ensure compliance, support talent acquisition, drive performance management, and enhance workforce capability in a shift manufacturing environment.
Employee Relations
· Serve as a trusted resource for employee concerns, policy questions, and workplace issues.
· Partner with HR to support fair, thorough, and confidential investigations.
· Foster a culture of trust, respect, and open communication aligned with TEC principles and Saint-Gobain values.
Compliance
· Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
· Maintain audit-ready documentation and support regulatory, safety, and compliance reporting.
· Apply policies consistently to reinforce fairness and empower leaders.
Frontline Leadership Support
· Partner with supervisors and managers on coaching, performance management, attendance, and conflict resolution.
· Provide day-to-day HR guidance to support consistent, transparent decision-making.
· Reinforce expectations and standards to drive performance and collaboration.
Talent Acquisition
· Support hiring for hourly and early-career roles (posting, screening, interviews, selection).
· Align staffing with operational needs, schedules, and production demands.
· Lead onboarding to ensure a positive and engaging new hire experience.
HR Metrics & Systems
· Track and analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, headcount, employee relations trends).
· Provide data-driven insights and ensure accuracy in HRIS and timekeeping systems.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership
· Participate in Gemba walks and WCM initiatives to support continuous improvement and employee engagement.
· Collaborate with Operations, EHS, Payroll, Finance, IT, and Corporate HR.
· Support training, engagement, and recognition programs to strengthen culture.
· Build strong relationships across all levels and manage competing priorities effectively.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Requirements:
1-3 years experience as HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Bachelor's Degree, within Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations, or related field; preferred.
Must be able to work alternate schedules when necessary, while also being able to consistently work a 10am-7pm shift three days a week.
