 We have an immediate need for a Quality Engineer.
 
The essential functions include, but not limited to:
 
 - Maintain up-to-date supplier quality documentation, engaging suppliers and subcontractors directly, in order to maintain our SQM system.  This includes the audit schedule, assessments, audit support, audit findings and corrective actions;
 - Create professional audit agendas, scheduling them in advance;
 - Maintain the approved supplier list and audit schedule;
 - Supplier record keeping;
 - Single point accountability for supplier quality related issues and inquires, CAPA management for non-conformances and SCARs.
 - Coordinate and lead event management and CAPA processes at the site, executing and reviewing investigations as needed;
 - Review open events and track progress, noting potentially past due actions;
 - Update eQMS with evidence;
 - Review and approval of drawings/specifications/control plans for both internally manufactured parts as well as subcontracted work;
 - Review and approval of drawings/specifications/control plans for new parts or raw materials;
 - Execution of record retention schedule;
 - Maintenance of the document control system, and compliance thereof;
 - Event management to capture CAPAs and site deviations;
 - Participate in 3rd party audits.
 
 
The Quality Engineer (QE) will support and lead various site Quality Management Systems (QMS) elements in compliance to regulatory, customer, local/site, and corporate requirements in accordance with ISO9001:2015.  The QE will possess the ability to understand the systems, processes, and procedures the site and organization have implemented to build the QMS elements, identify potential gaps, and work to resolve/maintain them.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Mathematics or Related Sciences.
 
2+ years in an engineering function in a manufacturing environment is required.
 
3+ years of Quality Management experience is preferred.
 
Other knowledge and abilities include:
Microsoft Office proficiency - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.;
Strong communication, analytical and problem skills is a must;
Influencing cross-functionally and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Must be a team player, self-motivated and meet commitments & deadlines with limited direct supervision;
Cleanroom GMPs and SOPs, Pharma customer expectations, AutoCad experience a plus.
 
2+ years of ISO 9001:2015 certified training is preferred.

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $72,500to $111,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
 
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $79,025 to $121,535. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
