WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Technical Services & Sales Representative serves as a trusted technical expert for customers, contractors, distributors, and design professionals throughout the New York, Long Island, and New Jersey markets. In this role, you will provide hands-on field support, product application expertise, troubleshooting, and training that help customers maximize the performance of GCP products and systems while reinforcing our reputation for innovation, quality, and service.
 
Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager and sales teams, you will identify opportunities to support business growth by providing technical guidance, training, and field expertise that enhance customer success and uncover new sales opportunities. You will serve as a key link between customers and internal teams, helping to ensure our products and systems are applied effectively in real-world conditions.
 
This role also partners with Warranty Services, Marketing, and Research & Development to support product development initiatives, training programs, contractor engagement efforts, and warranty management activities. Through hands-on field support, customer collaboration, and technical leadership, you will contribute directly to the growth and success of the business.
What You'll Do
· Deliver product application and installation training to customers, contractors, and distribution partners.
· Support and help implement contractor engagement and development programs.
· Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for field sales teams and contractors.
· Assist customers and distributors with job estimates and product quantity recommendations.
· Conduct field research and gather customer feedback to identify needs, challenges, and market opportunities.
· Partner with sales teams to support growth initiatives and identify new business opportunities.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Warranty Services, Marketing, and R&D on product and program development initiatives.
 

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

· At least 2-4 Years of experience in applications
· Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: field trials during product development, introduction of new products, troubleshooting field problems, and technical support activities.

· Strong ability to communicate technical information effectively to contractors, sales teams, and customers

· Well organized with concern for details, accuracy and capable to following instructions, meet schedules/timelines and handle multiple priorities. Proven ability to work independently.

· Ability to travel up to 85%. Day & Overnight Travel in the U.S. Company vehicle is provided.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $72,500 to $111,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
 
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan (SIP). The targeted amount is 20% of base salary. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and SIP) for this position, is $87,000  to $133,800. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
