Essential Functions

  • Corrective & Preventative Maintenance:
    • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
    • Daily inspections for facility and production equipment and systems.
    • Document all maintenance activities and file all records in the CMMS system.
  • Detect malfunctions, repair, inspect and test machinery / equipment: for safety or unsafe conditions. Discuss the machine operation variations with supervisors and operators; diagnose problems and repairs; increase efficiency of machines; bring equipment and environment within SG safety guidelines.
  • Maintains 5S on tools, spare parts inventory, and work area.
  • Ensures adequate spare parts inventory; places orders on tools/spare parts as necessary, with manager approval.
  • Ensure all work orders are closed and follow-up to improve reliability effectiveness
  • Secures facilities and equipment in case of emergency or crisis situation.
  • Responsible for the repair and maintenance of facility and grounds in regard to safety and compliance whether city, state, federal, or Saint-Gobain requirements.
  • Perform other duties as directed or required.

Qualifications et compétences requises :

  • Diplôme d'études professionnelles en mécanique ou électromécanique ou dans un domaine équivalent.
  • Expérience comme mécanicien de chariot élévateur (Obligatoire)
  • Être apte à lire des plans hydrauliques et électriques
  • Être disponible pour répondre aux urgences en dehors des heures régulières.
  • Fortes aptitudes pour l'amélioration continuent.
  • Être en mesure de manipuler des charges de 25lbs et plus.
  • Posséder son coffre à outils personnel.

Customer Success Representative

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

**While this role is remote, the employee must live in the San Diego area.**

The Customer Success Representative will lead on-the-ground implementation, training, and value realization for Verifi customers. This role is highly field-based and hands-on, working directly with concrete producers, operators, and site managers to ensure successful system adoption and sustained performance.

The Customer Success Representative will be the face of Verifi at customer plants—training users, solving problems, ensuring accountability for action items, and making sure our technology translates into real-world results.

Business Management: 40%

  • Providing solutions for their businesses that are in line with value derived from Joint Business Plans with customer .   
  • Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
  • Building long-term relationships with customers ensuring that value needs are fulfilled, helping provide process’, structure and value support
  • Networking through active participation in industry association events and committee assignments
  • Working directly with Field Service Managers and Field Service Technicians to bring value to customer 

Commercial & Excellence in Execution: 60%

  • Actively works with other departments including Sales, Field Service, command center and R&D to ensure customer service needs are met. Identifies bottlenecks in service and works within the company to resolve issues
  • Works with Customer Success Manager to create process’ and plans to promote value, derived from Joint Business plans with Client Engagement Managers
  • Coordinates initiatives with team members in Client Engagement and Customer Success Manager•Leads the development and implementation of the account plans and value actions. The assigned Account(s) initiatives and success will be the responsibility of the Account Manager

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 8% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $102,600 to $124,200. Logistics Coordinator

What’s the job?

Responsible for Warehouse, Shipping Logistics, Inventory Control and Outbound/Inbound Traffic Flow functions such that the Plants’ Objectives for Shipping/Inventory Accuracy and Customer Fulfillment Rates are being achieved using the SAP Platform. Perform a variety of shipping and receiving tasks per Saint-Gobain’s Inventory Control Guidelines and Logistics Standard Operating Procedures.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Manages Facilities Outbound and Inbound Shipping Appointments using SAP and Manhattan.
  • Maintains Daily Transactions for Third Party Warehouses 
  • Monitors all Inbound and Outbound traffic throughout the facility to minimize wait times for loading and unloading.
  • Responsible to resolve all Department Sales Force cases timely and effectively.
  • Monitors Material Movement Transactions in SAP with a very high level of accuracy (Transfer Orders, Scrap and Bin to Bin Movements)
  • Participates in Cycle Counting tasks with the Shipping Supervisor including reconciliation to ensure accurate Inventory Levels are maintained in SAP in both the Inventory and Bin Level.
  • Help to Support and Maintain Warehouse stock location system and code dates to ensure proper inventory turns and adherence to FIFO principles.
  • Processes return shipments from customers
  • Collaborates with others in Logistics Department to continually improve Customer Service key measurements – On Time and In-Full (OTIF) Measurement reports.
  • Maintain Department Efficiency reports, organize and file shipping, receiving and production reports.
  • Follows the Logistics Standard Operating Procedures .
  • Monitor Customer Shipments using the outbound process flow in SAP that will ensure optimal location loading, efficient manpower usage and accurate inventory transactions.
  • Ensure Max Weight on Outbound Trucks is met.
  • Creates BOL’s documents and ensures proper filing of documents. 
  • Actively troubleshoots Order Issues with SAP and RF Monitor
  • Receives Incoming Finished Goods and Raw Materials. Verifies accuracy using SAP system.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • A 2- 4 Year college degree preferred or equal experience
  • 2-4 Years Warehouse / Supply Chain Experience
  • SAP Experience preferred
  • Good working knowledge of Warehouse/Shipping policies, procedures, operations and general transportation processes.

Software Engineer - Digital Manufacturing

As part of Digital Manufacturing, this position will help serve projects relating to Production, Quality and Maintenance within our 70+ manufacturing sites throughout North America.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable solutions on the backbone of Ignition and its integrated MES system, Sepasoft. This role contributes to CertainTeed’s digitization and digital transformation of all processes across CertainTeed’s diverse product lines. This position will be Malvern, PA reporting to the Manager – Software Engineering.

This role will be mentored and grown into an engineering expert within the systems and functions relating to MES, Scada, PLC, Sensors, Historians and Data Tagging, and have a heavy emphasis on the Ignition platform.

In this role, you will:

The Take Off Operator in our Seattle, Washington plant is primarily responsible to use machines according to safety standards in the area of the production line that stacks, tapes, and bundles gypsum wallboard board together for outbound shipments to customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible to add spacers (known as sluetters) between stacks of bundled wallboard, performing timely quality inspections on a regular schedule using an internal computer and written system(s), ensuring the accuracy of production count, and transporting the bundled gypsum wallboard to the correct area of the warehouse using a forklift.

This position reports directly to the Shift Performance Manager and works independently and within a team setting.

Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am
Pay: $29.29 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Champions a safety-first environment and keeps up to date on new safety policies, procedures, and initiatives
  • Performs quality checks per the quality control plan and escalates issues to Line Production Lead if required
  • Safely operates bundler and stacker machines and tools to produce wallboard according to quality and specification standards
  • Properly adds 8 lbs. sluetters between bundled wallboard for each load according to standards and places sluetters in the warehouse for load placement. Re-supplies sluetters at takeoff using a fork truck
  • Adheres to Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to help address mechanical issues or upset conditions
  • Performs daily fork truck inspection and refuel as needed
  • Places wallboard loads in warehouse properly with forklift adhering to all safety rules and traffic guidelines
  • Clear rejected wallboard from the reject stacker with forklift
  • Maintains an accurate wallboard count making sure every wallboard is of good quality, ensure culled boards are accounted for according to systems and procedures
  • Assists with troubleshooting responses to problems or breakdowns in the Take Off area and on the lines as required
  • Adheres to all housekeeping standards and ensures workspace is clean, safe, and in working order within assigned area(s)
  • Maintains in-depth and ongoing knowledge of assigned equipment, work area(s), procedural and safety updates

  • Changes out end tape, zip tape, and other consumables on the machine as required

Production Operator

In this hands-on Production Operator role, you will operate all production equipment, manage scrap, and maintain high productivity levels at the CertainTeed Gypsum Finishing Corner Production Plant in Bend, Oregon. You will also sustain a positive team environment and a focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Typical Job Duties

  • Run efficient production lines, problem-solve to ensure products meet quality specifications, including checking product and equipment frequently, and make immediate adjustments to lines when needed.
  • Set-up, start, run, shutdown, clean, and troubleshoot extruders and other production equipment.
  • Build boxes, maintain printers, track tools and equipment, and ensure all needed supplies are available.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork (i.e. all logbooks and line paperwork), read and understand specifications for all products, grade products, and document all changes to the lines as they occur.
  • Keep lines and production floor clean, free of debris, and stocked for the incoming shift.
  • Consistently and effectively communicate with all other team members and ask for help when needed.

Work Schedule

Our shift schedules are fixed with current openings on the following shift:

  • Day Shift - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:30am-5:00pm

Compensation

Starting compensation for Production Operators is $20.00 per hour. Those assigned to the Night Shift also receive a 10% shift differential.

Additionally, all hours worked in excess of 10 hours per day are paid out as overtime. Therefore, in a normal work week, Production Operators work three 12-hours days for a total of 36 hours worked per week. In return, they receive 30 hours of regular earnings and 6 hours of overtime per week.

In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for quarterly bonus payments. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 6% of the hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include:

  • Standard overtime (Hourly Rate * 1.5) for all hours worked in excess of 10 hours per day.
  • 40 sick hours are awarded annually and unused hours are paid out in January
