Responsabilités

  • Planifier, exécuter et superviser des projets TI à l’échelle de l’Amérique du Nord pour garantir le respect des échéances et la qualité.
  • Collaborer avec des parties prenantes pour définir la portée, les objectifs et les livrables des projets.
  • Établir des échéanciers de projet, gérer les ressources, participer à l’établissement des projets prioritaires, contrôler la progression et partager l’état des projets au moyen d’outils de gestion de projet, de rapports, de tableaux de bord et d’indicateurs de rendement clés.
  • Établir et maintenir des relations avec les principaux responsables des décisions liées aux projets.
  • Favoriser la collaboration entre les équipes interfonctionnelles pour déterminer les solutions de conception technique qui rehausseront les résultats des projets.
  • Assurer un soutien technique tout au long du projet.
  • Créer la documentation de la conception actuelle et future de solutions et s’assurer de sa qualité.
  • Offrir son mentorat et son soutien à l’égard des pratiques et des méthodologies exemplaires aux autres gestionnaires de projet.

 

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en informatique, en technologie de l’information ou dans un domaine connexe;
  • Cinq années d’expérience en gestion de projet TI, notamment une expérience confirmée à gérer des projets de manière fructueuse;
  • Grande connaissance des méthodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) et des outils (Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, Jira, Monday, Smartsheet) de gestion de projet;
  • Expérience dans le secteur de la fabrication, en architecture de solutions, en administration de systèmes, en mentorat ou en environnement d’équipe en télétravail, un atout.
  • Certifications pertinentes (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, TOGAF, CompTIA, CSM, ou une certification équivalente), un atout.
  • Ouverture aux déplacements en Amérique du Nord;

Research Engineer I - Polymer Materials

Saint-Gobain Research (SGR) North America is seeking a driven, talented, and energetic entry-level researcher to join our Sustainable Materials and Processing Technologies team. In this role, you will conduct hands-on laboratory experiments for key development programs, focusing on process and product development activities related to Saint-Gobain's extensive product line.

As an entry-level researcher, you will:

  • Design and conduct lab experiments, produce lab-scale samples, operate lab equipment, and analyze experimental outcomes under the direction of the group leader.
    • Conduct experiments to support both your primary projects and those led by others.
    • Utilize basic scientific or engineering principles and techniques to undertake specific tasks and projects with limited scope.

  • Develop and present presentations for executive review. Submit technical reports on project progress and results.
  • Carry several small projects or studies through to successful completion with little assistance from the supervisor. Projects involve the extension of present or new technology in one or more areas, involving improvement and/or development of processes and testing techniques.
  • Take a leading role in aspects of lab management: safety, equipment maintenance, 5S, lab audit preparation and action follow-up, lab postings, regular equipment checks etc.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other related disciplines.

    • Must possess a body of technical work commensurate with their years of experience including but not limited to demonstration of familiarity with statistical tools, data analysis, and drawing conclusions based on a collection of basic data and interpretation.
    • Project leadership including project management, team collaboration, and oral and written communication skills,
    • Demonstrated basic knowledge in HSE.
    • Ability to work with colleagues at various levels.

Principal Scientist - Polymer Materials and Adhesion

Saint-Gobain Research (SGR) North America is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced researcher to join our Sustainable Materials and Processing Technologies team. The ideal candidate will leverage her/his extensive research and project experience, as well as broad expertise in polymeric materials, process techniques, and products, to innovate and enhance Saint-Gobain’s extensive product lines by improving performance or reducing costs.

Essential Functions

  • Lead R&D projects in materials technology, collaborating effectively with R&D colleagues, product managers, product engineers, application engineers, and external customers.
  • Create and execute project plans, design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and present findings in both written and oral formats. Additionally, the candidate will propose projects and programs vital to the R&D direction of the group and be responsible for developing direct reports and others within the group.
  • Utilize broad technical background and experience to develop and/or improve products, processes, and performance, or reduce costs within a major product area.
  • Stay aware of new technology applications and competitive uses of the same in work with materials, products, and processes, and in the development of new knowledge. The candidate will apply this knowledge to personal research and products, making decisions on IP in agreement with upper management and business.

The qualified candidate will collaborate closely with internal and external partners and customers to enable the success of technology and product development and qualification. The candidate will rely on communication and people skills to identify customers’ unique needs and use creative problem-solving skills, combining literature search, scientific knowledge, and hands-on experiments. All of this will support current and next-generation products in high-performance materials and the construction material sectors.

The new team member will be a technical leader, leveraging their expertise in chemistry, material science, polymer science and engineering, and data analysis to understand how material structure-property relationships impact performance. The candidate will generate data to drive engineering and business decisions related to formulation, manufacturing processes, compliance, lifetime, and cost. Materials include thermoplastics and thermosets, composites, adhesives and sealants, novel green chemistries, and biopolymers with a focus on sustainability. Excellent communication and people skills are essential to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization, influence others, and drive success in projects. The candidate is expected to understand gate process methodology/ideology and incorporate it into research projects.        

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Required Qualifications

BS Degree with a minimum of 15+ years’ experience, or MS with 10+ years of experience, or PhD with 6+ years of experience in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or other related disciplines where technical judgement/accomplishments are demonstrated.

  • 6+ years of firsthand experience with formulation and process development in an industrial or research setting.
    • Must have practical and theoretical knowledge of polymer and composite materials – including formulation and structure-property relationships, performing standard material characterization and product tests, and interpreting the data and developing new tests.
  • Experience with industrial product and process development (minimum 6 years).
  • Experience with characterization and testing of polymeric materials (thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers), composites, and adhesives & sealants, using a range of techniques, including thermal analysis (DSC, DMA, TGA), mechanical testing (tensile), imaging (SEM), spectroscopy (FTIR, NMR), and rheology.
  • Proven ability to champion efforts to drive HSE and environmental consciousness and lab safety.
  • Proven ability to think critically, learn and iterate quickly, strategize and organize tasks autonomously on assigned projects, and establish viable technical paths forward.
  • Proven ability to determine and execute IP strategy, monitor and summarize new IP, industry and scientific literature, and technical advances in key markets and technologies.
  • Experience with adhesives and sealants formulation and product development strongly preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis, statistics, modeling, and visualization tools preferred.

The Injection Molding Setup Technicians will set up, maintain, and troubleshoot injection molding machines to ensure efficient production processes. This role involves installing molds, adjusting machine settings, performing quality checks, and ensuring compliance with safety and production standards.

Mold Setup & Changeovers:

Install and remove molds according to production schedules.
Ensure proper mold alignment, clamping, and connection of auxiliary equipment.
Perform mold changes efficiently to minimize downtime.

Machine Operation & Troubleshooting:

Set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.) for optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to molding defects, cycle times, and process inconsistencies.
Work with maintenance teams to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.

Quality Control:

Perform first-piece inspections and monitor production runs for defects.
Make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality meets specifications.
Document and report any deviations or corrective actions taken.

Equipment Maintenance & Safety:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
Identify and report any potential hazards or equipment malfunctions.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

Work closely with production supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to improve efficiency.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest optimizations.
Train and assist operators in proper machine usage and troubleshooting techniques.

The Extrusion Operator will safely operate extrusion machines, feeding raw material into machine to create medical-grade tubing and profiles, per detailed drawings, attribute specifications, and routing notes. Must perform dimensional inspections to ensure product is extruded in accordance with the provided specifications using micrometers, calipers, tape measure, pi tape, optical comparator, and other measuring tools. The Operator must also record in-process inspections and verifications using Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Operator is responsible for machine setup and tear-down between jobs. Must be mechanically inclined and proficient with computers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Safely produce silicone extruded products and practice trouble shooting processes with limited supervision.
  • Read and interpret written work processes, manufacturing aides, models, and basic prints.
  • Proficient in the use of general computer programs and current industrial technology including QAD, MQ1, and FACTIVITY.
  • Perform designated job functions adhering to standards as defined by SOP’s, MOP’s, ISO standards, & GMP.
  • Proficient in the safe use of power and hand tools for defined processes.

  • Able to perform general math equations, knowledge of metric and standard systems, complete accurate documentation, multi-task, and stand for multiple hours.

We are hiring an Electroplating Technician to join our team in Orange.

The role will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient operation, strict record keeping of the electroplating process, and quality products following established work procedures.

The successful candidate will have proven math abilities, trouble-shooting and time management abilities. The role requires experience of working safely with a variety of chemical materials.

Responsibilities include:

  • Follow established work procedures set for rack and barrel electroplating.
  • Monitor parts throughout the plating cycle and produce and maintain a high level of quality parts to specification.
  • Maintain documentation as needed including but not limited to lot codes and daily production reports.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform process and tank maintenance
  • Troubleshooting of solutions and defects.
  • Perform scheduled analysis on plating solutions.
  • Addition and making up of plating solution chemistry.
  • Handling of hazardous waste.
  • Communicate with other departments and personnel in a team environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to increase productivity and/or to produce a higher quality product.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Qualifications and Requirements:

    • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent – Required
    • Associates Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or similar discipline - Preferred
    • Minimum 3+ years Electroplating experience - Knowledge of electroplating theory and chemistry - Required
    • Experience with RCRA and DOT certification - Preferred
