The Segment Marketing Manager is the market/vertical “GM of insight + portfolio development” --owning deep segment and stakeholder understanding, converting that knowledge into a winning product portfolio supported by compelling, customer-centric communication and tools. This role supports the Strategy Director and Business Leaders, and complements Product Managers.
 
Build and Own Infrastructure & Underground Construction Segment Intelligence
Support Strategy Director on execution of segment growth strategy with prioritized initiatives:
·Document stakeholder profiles, specific customer targets, application requirements/challenges, and geographies 
·Document purchasing journey & spec-influencing/decision points
·Identify system/product application use cases, problems/unmet needs and pain points
·Document competitive landscape with product & service differentiation
·Identify & propose solutions to barriers to adoption
Execute primary and secondary research including stakeholder interviews, jobsite visits, trade events, online, etc. Synthesize research with institutional knowledge from business leaders and sales teams into clear, reusable insights and decision-ready recommendations for where to play and how to win. 
Lead Product Portfolio Strategy & Execution including Growth Enablers
Translate segment requirements and strategic direction into implications for:
·The development or integration of new products specific to the Infrastructure & Underground Construction segment)
·A segment-oriented product roadmap 
·Customer-centric, value-add service and support tools (material estimators, training, QA programs, etc.)
Identify solutions with Product Management across multiple business units; this segment leverages offers from several Saint Gobain businesses including but not limited to Chryso, GCP, and FOSROC.
Work with adjacent functions including Product Management, R&D, and Purchasing to define and prioritize opportunities; support business cases and validation and drive New Product Development/Integration implementation as needed 
Enable Customer-Facing Positioning & Marketing Communications
·Establish value proposition with segment-specific positioning and messaging architecture
·Support go-to-market and channel tactics 
·Lead demand generation ideas and sales enablement requirements
·Partner with Central Marketing to develop: 
·Segment landing pages and collateral
·Case studies, application notes, white papers, webinars/lectures, and thought leadership
·Trade show strategy, speaking opportunities, PR angles
        ·Sales enablement kits 
Secure new product listing on Qualified Product Lists (QPL) in target Bridge markets. 
·Align on target QPLs with Strategy Director and Business Leader
·Document Standard Operating Procedure for QPL approval 
        ·Execute SOP for all new products 
Drive Execution in Cross-Functional Teams
·Lead cross-functional “segment squads” (informal teams) across Sales, PM, Tech/R&D, Tech Service, Ops and Marketing. 
·Influence without authority: manage alignment, trade-offs, and follow-through. 
        ·Create a cadence of segment reviews with P&L leaders to track progress, remove barriers, and adjust plans.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $133,000 - $213,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 17% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $155,610 to $249,210. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Quality Control Slitting Operator - MANUFACTURING - 1st Shift

Why do we need you?

BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Efficiently performs set-up, running, and monitoring of any of the Slitting machines. Personnel will assist in the training and supervision of new operator trainees. Ensures that the machines are running on their shifts, are producing a quality product in an efficient manner. Assist in the packaging and moving of materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  1. Efficiently performs set-up, running, monitoring, and troubleshooting (as required) of all the slitting machines.
  2. Exercises strong working knowledge about the defects associated with Finished Goods materials and can make all required judgements as to a film’s quality and usability.
  3. Prepares slitting documents, core-tags, box labels and quality documents and training documents without immediate supervision.
  4. Assists in the packaging of materials when needed including making boxes, packaging material, stacking packaged material on pallets, and moving pallets of completed film.
  5. Assists in the training and supervision of less experienced operators.
  6. May occasionally performs lead operator responsibilities when lead operator is not available.
  7. Properly and thoroughly informs the relieving shift and department superiors about machine and production status, material processes, department or job needs and priorities, and problems of observations.
  8. Strictly follows standard operating procedures, set-up specifications, supervisor’s instructions, safety regulations and housekeeping policies. Follows procedures for any deviation to the above.
  9. Provides regular suggestions and feedback to Slitting supervisors concerning department problems, process improvements, machine operation and safety hazards.
  10. Ensures, indirectly, that all phases of the Slitting operation are performed in an efficient manner.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Informs Lead Operator of any parts or supplies needed and follow-up on request if items are not supplied in a timely manner to ensure that request was passed on.
  2. Performs finished pallet sign-off and rework activity (when directed).
  3. Suggests updates to procedures and policies on a regular basis.
  4. Communicates with lead, plant personnel and supervisors regarding production issues.
  5. Regularly monitors self-productivity and reports limitations to lead of department supervisor.
  6. Participates in continuous improvement and safety observations

  1. Strong knowledge of math related to company processes and procedures.
  2. Strong mechanical ability, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail in slitting procedures.
  3. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skill as it relates to slitting procedures and company processes.
  4. Beginning knowledge of other department’s procedures as it relates to film construction, winding techniques, shipping procedures and metallizing process.
  5. Working knowledge of relevant customers and suppliers.
  6. High school graduate. One or two years of college or four-year military service preferred.

Benefits in joining us

As the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will lead the engineering and maintenance function for a high-volume manufacturing plant, ensuring safe operations, strong equipment reliability, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will drive World Class Manufacturing (WCM) maintenance strategies, lead capital and reliability projects, and develop high-performing engineering and maintenance teams. You will partner closely with Production, EHS, Quality, and Corporate Engineering to support 24/7 operations, improve asset performance, and help deliver the plant's safety, quality, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas

Safety & Compliance Leadership

  • Lead all engineering and maintenance activities with a strong focus on employee, contractor, and equipment safety
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, corporate, and site safety standards, including LOTO, permit-to-work, confined space, and contractor safety programs
  • Champion continuous improvement in safety systems, audits, and behavioral safety initiatives

Maintenance Strategy & Asset Reliability

  • Lead the maintenance organization to achieve high equipment reliability, availability, and technical performance
  • Implement and sustain World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Professional Maintenance practices, including preventative, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and ensure effective, sustainable corrective actions

Engineering & Capital Project Management

  • Lead capital and non-capital engineering projects from concept through execution and commissioning
  • Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, automation, utilities, and infrastructure improvements
  • Manage projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Provide direct leadership to engineers, maintenance managers/supervisors, planners, and technical staff

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automation/Controls, or related)
  • 7+ years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with progressive responsibility in maintenance, reliability, or engineering roles
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience leading engineers, supervisors, planners, and technical staff
  • Hands-on experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance systems
  • Proven capability in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of sustainable corrective actions

Project Engineer

The Project Engineer (PE) serves as the single point of contact once a customer order is received, taking full ownership of project execution from kickoff through delivery. Acting as the customer’s advocate, the PE ensures that all internal and external stakeholders are aligned to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet client expectations and Decoustics’ standards.

This role is both technical and customer‑facing, requiring strong project management, electrical/automation expertise, and cross‑functional collaboration. The Project Engineer works closely with Technical Sales Specialists, Project Coordinators, Design Detailers, R&D, Operations, and Management to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.

Project & Customer Leadership

  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
  • Review and validate purchase orders to ensure alignment with project proposals and contractual terms.
  • Manage client communications, expectations, and issue resolution with a strong customer‑centric mindset.

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate project documentation, approvals, change orders, and internal handoffs.
  • Track project milestones from shop drawings through production and shipment, ensuring commitments are met.
  • Lead project closeout activities, including job costing reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical & Engineering Support

  • Provide technical expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) and automation systems.
  • Support and enhance PLC, HMI, VFD, instrumentation, data and voice networks, and plant electrical distribution systems.
  • Lead Industry 4.0 integration initiatives at the plant level.
  • Participate in and oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Gather required technical inputs for design detailing, including specifications for fixtures and in‑wall/in‑ceiling requirements.
  • Coordinate purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of project‑specific materials.
  • Supervise contractors and work closely with maintenance and electrical teams.
  • Support other CertainTeed Insulation North American plants when required.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Post‑secondary degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) and PLC‑based systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Rockwell Automation platforms (RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000, SCADA).
  • Strong understanding of NEC, Arc‑Flash (Z462), and Ontario Electrical Code.

Maintenance Planner / Scheduler

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the insulation manufacturing plant's reliability-based maintenance strategy which is founded on preventative and predictive maintenance. The core function of a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is to effectively coordinate all work activities of the Maintenance Department and is the owner of the SAP-Work Management System (SAP-WMS). The Planner/Scheduler is also responsible for kitting jobs as required and ensuring all data accurately entered into the system- monitoring orders to completion status.

Primary weekly responsibilities for this role include:

  • Generate all Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Non-PM Work Orders (WO) and to ensure any spare parts necessary to execute these tasks are kept in inventory at the stock levels needed
  • Administrator and trainer for overseeing work notifications via SAP Plant Maintenance System which include collaborating with team supervisors to assign work to either contractors or hourly technicians.
  • Organize and maintain accurate equipment files as well as ensure work orders have prioritized oversight and follow up as necessary. This will include job walk down are prioritized safely, incorporating the necessary work process considerations into each job plan
  • Collaborates with specialists, engineers and technicians to maximize equipment reliability and availability through effective use of planned maintenance to quickly return equipment to design capability.
  • Continuously evaluates workplace for safety concerns and ensures behavioral safety initiatives are performed to goal levels.
  • Utilizes maintenance planning tools to prioritize work within the facility by identifying and implementing maintenance and reliability activities through the identification of the proper resources, tools and materials.

· Working knowledge of SAP (ERP/MRP) Business One enterprise resource planning is a plus.

The Saint-Gobain Superabrasives-North America manufacturing facility in Travelers Rest, South Carolina is the manufacturing site for diamond dressing rolls, direct plated and dressing tool products serving high volume operations in the automotive, aerospace, bearing and machine manufacturer industry. The products manufactured are used to shape materials too hard or too fragile for conventional abrasives. They are made by using electroplating, brazing and hand-setting processes and used for producing parts in a large number of machine tooling applications, primarily in the aerospace and automobile industries.

The Engineering & Maintenance Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team, responsible for the overall performance, reliability, and long-term capability of the site's equipment, facilities, and technical systems. Working in close partnership with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Human Resources, the Engineering & Maintenance Manager helps define and execute the plant's strategic roadmap. The role plays a critical part in influencing change, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the site is positioned to meet both current production needs and future growth.

This position provides leadership and oversight for all capital and engineering initiatives, including equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and new technology implementation. The role is accountable for establishing project priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring effective execution across the team. Through direct leadership of engineers and cross-functional collaboration, the manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with performance expectations

The Engineering & Maintenance Manager ensures a strong maintenance program that reduces downtime and improves equipment reliability through preventive and predictive practices. The role uses data, KPIs, and WCM to drive improvements in efficiency, cost, and performance.

A critical component of this role is leading and developing the engineering and maintenance teams, helping to build technical capability, strengthen problem-solving skills, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $102,000.00 to $158,000.00 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $115,200.00 to $178,500.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee
