WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

 The Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for managing technical activities including engineering, product development, application engineering, and support to customers and other departments. The incumbent promotes WCM and safety across the facility. 
 
DAILY:
· Production support
· Troubleshooting production (twin and single screw extrusion, and injection molding) to alleviate manufacturing process losses
· Outsources the repair and maintenance of tooling, and ensures tools are serviceable at all times
· Control of contractors
· Support projects and change orders being conducted by colleagues
· Conduct Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) to determine root cause and remediation of repetitive defects/issues
· Assess and authorize process deviations
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
· Initiate and manage change order requests which include but not limited to elements of environment, health and safety, purchasing, quality, and engineering
· Plans, develops, and executes projects to reduce waste through improved manufacturing and process efficiency, using WCM methodologies
· Initiate formal requests for capital equipment using substantiated justifications
· Implement new processes and equipment by using IQ/OQ/PQ validations
· Updating validations as needed due to process changes
· Troubleshooting
· Drafting and editing SOPs
WORLD CLASS MANUFACTURING (WCM):
· Pillar activities
· Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management
· Performance Control System (PCS) management
· Lead and coach multi functional kaizen teams 
· Auditing of pillar and kaizens

Essentials of Sales - Associate Territory Manager

Program Summary

Our 18-month program provides participants a full-time sales development role, where participants will increase their sales skills and their exposure to CertainTeed. Participants are provided with time in the field, hands-on learning, and full access to EPS leaders for networking opportunities designed to accelerate career development. These trainings and travel opportunities are a requirement for program completion, and full participation should be given, except for extenuating circumstances. The EOS Associate Territory Manager will support CertainTeed businesses in building strong relationships and portfolios of loyal customers through the development of new and existing customers. They will proactively promote CertainTeed products, systems, and programs. They will gain a knowledge base of all CertainTeed products, systems, programs, and promotions used to sell and promote the brand to potential customers throughout the U.S. Representatives will also be expected to collaborate with the managers and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are constantly being met.

Development Program Completion

Upon the successful completion of the program, the EOS Associate Territory Manager will work with HR, the Sales Training Manager, and Sales Leadership to explore available opportunities within one of our 12 sales regions in the U.S. for a Territory Manager role or other roles within Saint-Gobain. Those not able to find another role at the end of a successful completion of the program may qualify for a completion bonus if eligibility requirements are met.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $66,000 to $99,000. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and, by nature, can vary based on company and individual performance and are not a guarantee.

The Cost Accountant plays a key role in supporting the Edmonton manufacturing site by providing accurate cost accounting, financial analysis, and operational insights.   • Identify, analyze, and report manufacturing costs, variances, and production efficiencies

  • Verify supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance and support timely processing for payment

Process Engineer

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Work in the manufacturing areas to build and oversee the design and production of a facility's processes. Meet regularly with Production Supervisor and Automation Site Champion to determine what their current processes consist of and will collaborate with them to make adjustments accordingly. This position will be directly responsible for the site capital projects coordination and execution. The projects include mechanical equipment, automation and controls, safety, and will range from enhancing existing products/processes or developing new. The incumbent will be active and responsible in all phases of the project, from initial conception to final project completion.
WCM Pillar owner for Quality and Process Control (QP&C), Reliability, and Industrial Efficiency. Work with New Product Development to ensure that products will meet the future needs of customers. Act as a Change Sponsor to improve department efficiencies.

Maintenance Technician

The Role
 
Saint-Gobain is currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill a role as a maintenance technician. The ideal candidate will have safety as their #1 priority. The position is responsible for troubleshooting and performing moderately
complex installation and/or repairs on all facilities, manufacturing, and production equipment. The incumbent will need to draw on knowledge that includes low voltage electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, carpentry, welding, fabrication,
and/or other mechanical disciplines.
 

  • Work Safely and follow Saint-Gobain safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for the preventative maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and calibration of equipment.
  • Maintain a spare parts inventory to reduce downtime.
  • Repair and maintain production equipment, following priorities outlined by the production team.
  • Records maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Works with appropriate departments
  • Repairs to the facilities.
  • Operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other material handling equipment
  • Work at elevated heights occasionally (ladders/platforms/roof)

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and marketing sales expertise to internal teams (manufacturing, engineering, and cross-functional partners) to support and secure orders; use design and analysis software to support sales activities.
  • Serve as the technical resource for product selection, installation methods, and operational recommendations; present proposals to improve customer operations and win new business.
  • Identify new opportunities and lead product development initiatives to grow sales and expand the customer base; serve as new product champion and help lead cross-functional development teams.
  • Resolve quality and service complaints, including preparing and issuing reports.
