The Tarp Operator will tarp trucks in the warehouse safely and efficiently to safely transport products from CertainTeed to our customers. Shift work will be flexible based on completion of daily loads before leaving. Shift: 1st shift (7:00AM-3:00PM) (potentially later to complete daily load lists) Compensation: $20.00/hour Job Duties: Safety & Compliance • Understand all Plant Safety Rules • Understand all safety procedures associated with the tarp operation • Understand and follow all SOPs related to the tarp operation • Understand and manage all plant emergency situations and procedures • Report all safety incidents to , Distribution Lead, Supervisor or Manager, and/or EHS Manager • Proper use of necessary PPE required in the plant work areas • Understand pedestrian & mobile equipment safety in the various work areas Tarping • Strap and edge protector application procedures • Tarp machine operations (machine operations) • Ergonomics associated with handling tarps • Ergonomics associated with handling tarp materials (poly sheet rolls) • Understand hand safety associated with strap & tarp handling Other Duties • General housecleaning of the work area • Complete Employee Safety Orientation and all safety training programs • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals

About the Role

The TSR will be responsible for building and supporting sales within new and existing customers.  The TSR will primarily work with,  concrete producing companies, as well as contractors and specifiers  to generate sales growth of Chryso and Interstar solution par of Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals (portfolio of 20+  products primarely for concrete applications ). The TSR will be responsible for planning & coordinating sales activities, including on site and in lab technical support with customers within the territory, creating added value for the customers with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability and customer satisfaction.

In addition, the TSR will work in collaboration with their regional colleagues to deliver cross-functional customer planning sessions to unlock and maximize the sales opportunities across the full product portfolio including Chryso & Interstar product lines. 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and implementation of the account plans and growth actions
  • Define sales targets for the account and ensure they are achieved with a structured follow-up process using a Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM)
  • Provide solutions for businesses that align with volume, mix, and profitability targets
  • Monitor competitor activity and ensure appropriate action is taken
  • Build long-term relationships with customers, ensuring service needs are fulfilled
  • Network through active participation in industry association events and committee assignments
  • Actively work with other departments, including manufacturing and logistics, to ensure customer service needs are met
  • Identify bottlenecks in service delivery and work within the company to resolve issues
  • Coordinate sales activities with team members in business development and application specialists
  • Conducts and participates in sales promotions, training, and educational meeting with concrete producers, contractors, builders and builder sales representative, applicators, distributors and other trade factors.

Building Science Group Leader

This position may be based in either Northborough, Massachusetts or Malvern, Pennsylvania. 

Saint-Gobain is seeking a Building Science Group Leader to join their building science organization. This role is responsible for managing technical staff and developing impactful collaborations with Saint-Gobain construction product businesses and external partners. The ideal candidate will bring a strong customer-centric mindset and drive to make an impact, expertise in building science, and a passion for team development.

Essential Functions

Team strategy

  • Meet with external customers and key stakeholders across the Saint-Gobain businesses and central functions on a regular basis and identify areas where building science expertise can make an impact.
  • Strategize and plan projects or programs in collaboration with team and stakeholders. Projects and programs are inclusive of building science engineering services to customers, technical marketing analyses, internal & external training, system-focused research & development programs, and leverage external expertise as relevant.
  • Manage budget and resources and ensure successful execution of projects and programs.
  • Continuously assess the value of the team’s portfolio and adjust / pivot as necessary to maximize impact to customers and to the organization.
  • Review activity with senior management and leverage insights to inform team and portfolio strategy.

Team management

  • Directly manage a team of 3-6 technical staff with a diverse range of building science expertise
  • Identify critical competency gaps and launch development programs, and/or hire resources to address them.
  • Develop self and team members to full potential.

Lead and/or contribute to building science projects

  • Lead small- and large-scale projects that can involve external customers, multiple businesses and functions.
  • Contribute technically to projects in building envelope hygrothermal performance and other areas of expertise.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 18 years of experience or master’s degree with a minimum of 13 years of experience or PhD with minimum 9 years of experience. Degree in Building Science, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Engineering or related field. Experience preferably in building products, building science consulting, applied building science research, construction or related industries.

  • 5+ years of hands-on building science experience required.
  • 5+ years of direct management experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial and residential construction, and of the code framework required.
  • Broad knowledge of the following building science disciplines: acoustics, passive fire protection, daylighting and demonstrated expertise in hygrothermal performance and envelope design required. Demonstrated expertise in another area is a plus.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $133,000 to $213,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 17% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $155,600 to $249,200. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician for the Seven Hill-Lynchburg paper mill facility. The E&I Technician will support the manufacturing of gypsum liner paper by providing quality maintenance duties to enhance the mill’s equipment reliability and availability. The E&I Technician will utilize their skills and knowledge of electrical equipment, electronics, instrumentation, pneumatics, hydraulics, and rigging in our continuous paper manufacturing environment to safely help achieve production goals.

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace electrical, electronic, and instrumentation devices.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to troubleshoot and maintain process control systems.
  • Initiate and complete work orders and document all critical and or pertinent information on a routine basis.

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mill-wide electrical power systems, working with AC and DC voltages ranging from 12, 24, and 500 VDC to 120/240, 480, 575, 2300, and AC.
  • Install and maintain electrical distribution equipment and components, working with electrical conductors, conduits, cable trays, power panels, and motor control centers.
  • Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, including motors, solenoids, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems
  • Ability to install and set up both A/C drives.
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot basic 3-phase motor control circuits
  • Knowledge of the various types of flow, pressure, level, temperature sensors, and transmitters.
  • Working knowledge of control valves.
  • Various proximity, flow, pressure, and limit switches.
  • A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

The Field Services Director is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and correct installation of One Precision Assemblies and Residential Resiliency Systems through the education, training, and certification of 3rd party installers. The scope also includes creation & oversight of recruiting campaigns aimed at growing the network of installers for these solutions, while ensuring consistent alignment with the existing base of credentialed installers and the Territory, Regional, and Key Account Managers who already hold relationships with these and other contractors. The role provides direction and support to a growing network of field educators, trainers, building scientists, and quality assurance experts reporting directly to the Director of Field Operations, matrixed across multiple CertainTeed departments, and external to the company. A key aspect of this role is collaboration across the broader organization to avoid duplication of efforts and ensure unified external messaging. As we will test and evolve different business models between ourselves, contractors, and owners/builders, the role also has a key responsibility in contract creation (working with legal), negotiation, and fulfillment.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide strategic leadership to a matrixed team of field educators, technical trainers, building scientists, and quality assurance specialists, aligning cross-functional resources to drive operational excellence and consistent field execution.
  • Design and oversee the end-to-end strategy for contractor ecosystem development, including awareness, recruitment, onboarding, technical training, and certification, ensuring alignment with program standards and enterprise goals.
  • Safeguard the safety, performance, and quality of OPA and Resilient Systems by establishing and governing SOPs, implementing continuous training frameworks, and ensuring field and service compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Electrical Maintenance Technician

Sheet Metal Journeyperson

The core hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm. Monday to Friday.

Rate:

  • $40.00/hr for the first 640 hours
  • $40.75/hr after 640 hours until 1 year of service
  • $41.50/hr after 1 year
  • Additional Red Seal tickets are paid $1/hour extra.
  • Annual increases per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

 

The Roles & Responsibilities of this person would be:

  • Pipe Insulation and Cladding;
  • Fabrication of Vents, Ducting and Guards;
  • Operating a break press along with other Power Tools;
  • Use of sheet metal shop equipment for building custom sheet metal products;
  • Do maintenance, installation and repairs on all aspects of the building components (exterior and interior);
  • Measure up materials for ordering and shop fabrication;
  • Working with vendors, sourcing suppliers, asking for quotes and making purchase requests in collaboration with the Maintenance Planner;
  • Performs all duties in accordance with the safety program standards of the Company and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code;
