This role is a plant operator position on site at our Royse City, TX location. With safety in mind, the incumbent will produce finished products to fill customer orders.

The incumbent will participate in regulatory testing and team meetings, recommending necessary changes in procedures that will improve quality and production output, reduce costs waste generation and improve health and safety

Other duties include participating in housekeeping within the production and warehouse areas and assisting in monthly inventory counts and reconciliations

All shipments are prepared to order, properly loaded and prepared in accordance with DOT regulations

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

This role is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of CHRYSO admixture products to customers across North Texas and surrounding regions. The successful candidate will handle the transfer of liquid products from Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) into customer storage tanks, ensuring accuracy and safety throughout the process. In addition to driving and delivery responsibilities, this position may also support logistics operations at the plant and assist with general plant operator duties as needed.

 

Schedule: Full time

Shift: 1st- Day (with a periodic need for an evening or weekend day haul)

Travel: 100% of time; local travel

 

Interfaces and Responsibilities:

This position will interact regularly with internal stakeholders including Load Planner, plant personnel, and other members of the CHRYSO team. It requires close collaboration across the organization in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. External interactions will primarily involve customers receiving our products, emphasizing professionalism and customer service.

 

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform daily Pre/Post trip inspection on vehicle before driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, and damage to the vehicle
  • Maintain DOT driving logs including; working hours and vehicle/repair status
  • Manoeuvre trucks and trailers into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew, if applicable
  • Verify vehicle position is correct and that any special loading equipment is properly positioned
  • Safely load and unload all equipment including but not limited to; pallet racking, shelving, totes/chemicals etc.
  • Secure load for safe transfer
  • Obtain required signatures for all loads picked-up and delivered
  • Verify amount of equipment with the driver/customer/manufacturer before departing from the location
  • Effectively communicate and interface with the customer
  • Report all issues (delivery, equipment, or customer) that arise to your manager
  • Will fulfil the role of production operator during slow times.

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

This position is responsible for managing all purchasing and compliance functions for the facility. This position will perform all purchasing activities, negotiate payment terms, and execute contracts for both goods and services. This role will need to focus on cost savings, implementation, and adherence to global compliance, and utilization of digital tools while providing timely service to our internal customers.

  • Develops and maintains a Road Map to assess local suppliers. Negotiates local spend and contracts utilizing Saint-Gobain e-tools for bidding (ProSource) for all OPEX and CAPEX spend over $35k.
  • Reports all hard and soft savings at the end of each project using Purchaser Performance Management (PPM) Saint-Gobain e-tool.
  • Creates contracts using standard templates and exhibits, monitors the validity of all contracts, and ensures that they are uploaded into the appropriate contract management tool.
  • Ensures maximum compliance with Corporate Preferred Supplier Programs.
  • Drive compliance for the use of Agora at the site level.
  • Coordinates competitive bidding for all site purchasing categories with various stakeholders.
  • Creates purchase orders and manages inbound supply.
  • Manages and resolves invoice exceptions in the IOL System (Invoices-On-Line) and works on resolving root causes of invoice discrepancies, including support for Goods Received Invoice Received (GRIR).
  • Monitors and updates anticipated delivery dates in ERP.
  • Proactively analyses local practices, suggests and implements improvements to drive optimization, efficiencies, and best-practice utilization.
  • Monitors and reports vendor performance using digital tools while addressing deficiencies as needed.
  • Serves as a gatekeeper for purchasing policy compliance and adherence to internal control requirements at the site.
  • Owns monthly reporting for purchasing KPIs and plant-specific metrics.
  • Participates in recurring meetings with plant requisitioners, engineers, and department managers to determine purchasing assistance and requirements.
  • Provides remote vacation coverage for Site Buyer roles in other manufacturing facilities and ad hoc coverage for other responsibilities as directed by the manager.
  • Provides backup coverage for the Senior Raw Material Planner during vacations

PURCHASING DUTIES

  • Processes purchase orders for Capex, Expense, Maintenance, Storeroom MRO Reorders and/or Raw Materials as assigned or as necessary with required documentation
  • Review vendor confirmation for variances, update POs as necessary or work with Maintenance Requisitioner to resolve any variances. Pushback on unreasonable price increases if warranted and resend updated PO copies to vendors.
  • Manage VMI Vending relationship, monitoring of the invoices and assist with any issues.
  • Review the Open PO and GRIR Reports to resolve and close timely
  • Train new Requisitioners, Approvers and Receivers on Purchasing Policies, Procedures and SAP Processes

Senior Manager - HR Communications

Communications Strategy, Planning, and Messaging Development (50%)

  • Lead the development and execution of creative campaigns supporting key HR programs and initiatives.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $102,000 to $158,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $115,260 to $178,540. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

The Omniseal Solutions division under the Mobility business is looking for an Engineering Technician to join the Saint-Gobain team.

The Quality Technician/Dye Penetrant - Perform Level II Dye Penetrant Inspection on plastic parts by applying a fluorescent dye and developer, then after drying interpret surface discontinuities using a black light. Maintain inspection and process records. performs various inspection tasks using handheld measuring instruments and precision measurement equipment. Must be proficient at reading and interpreting drawings and specifications. Should also be familiar with sampling plans for inspection. The Quality Technician may support Receiving Inspection, Shipping Inspection, Final Inspection, Calibration, MRB, and Material Testing Laboratory. Some inspections may take place in a cleanroom environment either onsite or offsite.

  • Must have 2 years Quality Technician/Inspection experience (required)
  • Must have an understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 QMS requirements a Preferred
  • 2+ years in Manufacturing experience in aerospace, metal preferred.

A Quality Inspector will perform variety of inspection/test tasks in support of Manufacturing and other Customer-related processes. Inspections/tests (dimensional and visual) are performed in all stages of the manufacturing process, as well as related documentation.

  • Uses handheld measuring instruments and other precision measurement/test equipment to perform inspections/evaluations. Some inspections may take place in a cleanroom environment either onsite or offsite.
  • Perform visual inspections per specifications, router instructions, and/or procedures. This may include using magnification or other vision equipment. Must pass annual eye exam.
  • Inputs inspection/test results into designated databases/logs. Scans and maintains records of inspection results, material and process certificates and other quality documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED certificate (Required).
  • 2+ years experience in Quality or Production role, performing inspections/testing and using measuring gauges and equipment.
  • Basic computer proficiency in MS Word/Excel and good math skills.
