Architectural Estimator

Why do we need you?

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Estimator to work within the CertainTeed Architectural Products portfolio. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced outside sales professionals, general contractors, and distributors. Your role is to provide estimating expertise and support by developing accurate project quotations and ensuring smooth onboarding for successful projects. As a professional estimator, you’ll leverage your product knowledge, analytical skills, and collaboration to deliver well-defined solutions, accurate cost assumptions, and exceptional service—all while maintaining strong value and a positive customer experience. On the day to day this looks like: • Analyze architectural drawings and reflected ceiling plans (RCPs) to identify material scope across all product lines. • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and apply the appropriate pricing strategy to ensure competitive and accurate estimates. • Document project-specific requirements, including acoustical performance, fire ratings, LEED, WELL, FSC, VOC, EPDs, and other testing criteria. • Evaluate all aspects of project scope that may impact cost, including potential omissions or unspecified details. • Provide value-engineered solutions when necessary to optimize project success and cost efficiency. • Collect and interpret data to continuously improve estimate accuracy for time, materials, and labor. • Collaborate with the Estimating Manager to align on quotation strategies and ensure consistency. • Deliver estimates on time and submit comprehensive quote/BID documents to all potential bidders for follow-up. • Partner with clients and managers to coordinate quotation, negotiation, and project closeout strategies. • Prepare submittals, samples, and testing documentation, while proactively clarifying delivery schedules and timeline expectations with project teams.

Is this job for you?

• Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Architecture, Construction Technology or equivalent technical field required. • 5-10 years of experience in an estimating role in the Architectural, construction or manufacturing industry. • Extensive experience estimating in a custom product environment, including custom wood products. • Experience working with Salespeople, GCs and distributors within the North American construction market. • Understanding of commercial construction and bidding process. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings. • Ability to interpret/anticipate project compliance criteria such as LEED, FSC, VOC, EPD, CSA and ASTM • Strong independent problem-solving and organizational skills. • Ability to work effectively with customers according to tight deadlines and in a rapidly changing environment. • Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, BlueBeam or On-Screen Take-Off Software.

Summary:

Maintenance Technicians safely perform mechanical and electrical duties to keep machines, equipment, or the structure of a facility in repair. They perform preventative and predictive maintenance as needed and work with engineering and production to ensure that all equipment is functioning.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: • 3-5 years’ experience in a quality CMM field related to a machining or manufacturing environment or 2-year technical degree with 3 years’ experience. • Demonstrated proficiency in GD&T print interpretation and inspection techniques. • Demonstrated proficiency in traditional surface plate layout techniques and measurement tools. • Experience in advanced metrology inspection techniques including – CMM, vision systems, roundness measurement equipment and form scanning equipment. • Ability to sustain, lead and teach production personnel to standards defined by internal procedure and/or customer specifications. • Knowledge and experience with applicable ISO 9001 Quality System Standards. • Prior auditing experience is desired. JOB RESPONSIBILITY: • Operate and maintain CMM equipment to inspect production materials and components. • Perform first-piece, in process, and final inspections using CMM and had measurement tools. • Verify specified dimensions of product using applicable measuring instruments and methods as defined on the Control Plan/Print/Specification for each part. Reject defective parts and mark type of defect on part, container, or other documentation. • Work from prints, charts or specifications to check for dimensional criteria, GD&T, hole location, surface finish, material defects, etc. • Maintain all metrology equipment in area/product line of responsibility. • Set up fixtures and tools to ensure accurate measurements. • Analyze inspection data and report non-conforming materials or discrepancies. • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. • Support production functions and processes with monitoring and continuous improvement of MSA/G-R&R/Capability. • Document inspection results in both printed and electronic formats. • Perform reverse engineering tasks using scanning or programming methods when needed. • Support engineering functions with equipment and process validations, as necessary. • Support internal auditing functions as required by the QMS (Quality Management Systems). • Supplier quality and dock audit inspections.

The Senior Application Engineer will serve as a key technical expert supporting the growth and strategic direction of the Life Sciences business at Saint-Gobain. Will engage directly with customers to understand their filtration goals, challenges, and application requirements. Will introduce and promote the filtration product portfolio, provide tailored product recommendations, and support application development, validation, and troubleshooting efforts.

The Senior Application Engineer will act as a critical voice of the customer, providing feedback on unmet needs, industry pain points, and product performance to inform future product and technology roadmaps. This includes hands-on testing, benchmarking, and laboratory evaluations to develop and optimize filtration solutions that meet application needs.

Will also lead and support cross-functional project execution to ensure timely delivery of filtration solutions – standard and custom. Will translate customer requirements into actionable design inputs, working closely with engineering and development teams to develop application-specific products.

The filtration portfolio spans a range of high-impact markets, including medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, cell and gene therapy, diagnostics, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Key Accountabilities:

Build close relationships with customers and position himself/herself as a technical expert to address customer challenges, explain our products and technology, and assist with application development.

Perform product testing, benchmarking, and laboratory evaluations to develop, validate, and optimize filtration solutions.

Drive cross-functional project execution by collaborating with Product Management, Product Designers, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Quality to ensure timely and successful delivery of custom filtration solutions.

Provide technical support during product trials, troubleshooting, and validation at customer sites or remotely. This includes performing filterability trials to optimize product selection and sizing.

Develops and delivers technical content internally and externally including technical seminars, application notes, hands-on training, and product demonstrations.

Work with quality to troubleshoot and analyze complaints and differentiate between application and product-related issues. Aids in the investigation and timely resolution of quality complaints

 

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree - within Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field; Required. (with 5+ years of relevant experience as noted below).

Master's Degree - within Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field;; Preferred. (with 3+ years of relevant experience as noted below).

Required Experience within:

Fundamental research, product development, application development, or manufacturing experience in Life Science fields.

Hands laboratory experience, preferably in Life science applications such as biopharma, medical devices, or diagnostics.

Leading and executing projects with cross-functional teams.

Travel up to 25% - for business meetings / trainings and manufacturing sites.

Preferred experience within:

Strong fundamental and practical knowledge of filtration technology and applications in markets such as Biopharma, medical, and microelectronics.

Application engineering experience in Biopharma or electronic markets.

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $89,500 to $138,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $100,240 to $155,120. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

The IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as a strategic partner, trusted advisor, and collaborative leader, bridging the gap between Saint-Gobain Technology Services NA (SGTS) and the business unit(s) they support. This role focuses on fostering strong relationships, building trust, and empowering business partners to leverage IT solutions effectively to achieve their strategic objectives.

The BRM works closely with business leaders to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, aligning IT services and solutions to drive measurable value, operational efficiency, and innovation. Acting as a key advocate for IT within the business, the BRM champions digital transformation initiatives, supports demand management, and ensures seamless execution of IT projects and programs. By promoting collaboration and delivering impactful IT strategies, the BRM enables the business to succeed in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Project & Program Leadership

  • Oversee IT projects from planning to delivery, ensuring timelines, resources, and business outcomes are achieved.
  • Manage risks and issues proactively to ensure successful execution.
  • Facilitate collaboration between IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements clearly to leadership and project sponsors.

Qualifications

Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or a high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant IT experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years leading IT projects or support teams, with a proven record of aligning technology solutions to business needs.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
  • Languages: Proficiency in both written and spoken English and French is required.
  • Travel: Up to 35% across the U.S. and Canada.

Highly Preferred

  • Certifications: Business Relationship Management (BRMP, CBRM), IT Service Management (ITIL), or Project and Program Management (PMP, CSM, SAFe).
  • Business & Technical Insight:
    • Familiarity with manufacturing environments, Industry 4.0, IoT, and digital transformation initiatives.

Project Manager - Industrial Trainer

The incumbent will lead on-the-ground implementation, training, and value realization for Verifi customers. This role is highly field-based and hands-on, working directly with concrete producers, operators, and site managers to ensure successful system adoption and sustained performance.

CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

JOB SUMMARY: Set up and operate CNC Machines and edit CNC programs. Applies general knowledge of machining techniques and methods to ensure that machines are operating correctly and that machined parts are cut to specifications. A High School diploma or its equivalency is required, technical school training, apprenticeship program or equivalent. Successful work experience operating CNC metal fabricating machines (lathes, drills, grinders, etc.) desired. In addition, candidate must possess skill and knowledge in the set-up, adjustment and operation of machine shop equipment. Ability to read and interpret work orders, charts and blueprints and specifications, as well as skill and knowledge necessary in utilizing shop math and measuring instruments is required. Adherence to Quality Policy and Standard Operating Procedures and knowledge of those procedures will be a part of the daily process. Must be motivated, focused, and clear thinking. Ability to work safely and utilize good housekeeping is mandatory.
