The Co-op Marketing Manager leads and manages our co-op marketing initiatives at CertainTeed. This role requires a creative thinker who can develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive partner engagement and deliver measurable results. The Co-op Marketing Manager will also ensure compliance with program guidelines and maintain the integrity of our co-op marketing efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker and execution leader who can seamlessly integrate marketing co-op initiatives with broader corporate goals, ensuring alignment across all CertainTeed and Saint Gobain departments in North America.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Develop and implement co-op marketing strategies to align with CertainTeed business objectives and overall company goals
  • Design and share co-op marketing programs and policies to maximize partner engagement and ROI.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with co-op marketing partners.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of co-op marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze program performance metrics, generate reports and share to make data-driven adjustments as needed and enhance program effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and communication to customers and business partners to ensure program success.
  • Negotiate agreements and manage partner expectations.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for partners and internal teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for program enhancement whiling staying up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve co-op marketing strategies.
  • Ensure co-op marketing programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements ny conducting regular audits to identify and mitigate potential risks and maintaining accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a relevant experience in the required field. Advanced degrees such as an MBA with a marketing concentration would be a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on co-op marketing or partnership marketing.
  • Proven track record of managing successful co-op marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with partners, internal teams, and customers.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee multiple co-op marketing initiatives simultaneously.

What’s the job?

  • Directly supervises the hourly skilled maintenance employees in the improvement and maintenance of plant equipment, building maintenance, machinery, utilities etc. Will lead shift safety meetings to ensure compliance to all safety, environmental and health policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Organize and structure planned and unplanned repairs and preventive maintenance routines in a manner that will ensure efficient operation of equipment and plant operating systems.
  • Communicates & documents employee expectations and assess employee performance. Provides coaching and development opportunities of maintenance crews and administers disciplinary action up to and including termination if needed. Will be required to assist in the evaluation and selection process of hiring hourly employees
  • Assists in performing root-cause analysis as well as implementing sustainable countermeasures on losses related to equipment/machinery failure.
  • No travel.
  • Expect to work a 12-hour crew 7pm to 7am three days one week and four days the next alternating with every other weekend off.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

What do you bring?

  • A four-year degree in a related field is preferred. A technical diploma in the fields of engineering or manufacturing is recommended.  Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5- 7 years of maintenance supervisory experience leading small to medium-sized teams in a fast-paced continuous manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems to include hydraulic, pneumatic and power transmission equipment.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • General understanding of ISO standards and methodology.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, UKG and SAP.

Senior Supervisor, Operations & Maintenance
Position Description
Job Summary

Saint-Gobain Research North America in Northborough, MA is seeking an experienced hands-on Supervisor for the Facilities team. This position is responsible for leading the support function of the Facilities Operations and Maintenance departmental activities in a world class R&D facility.

This individual will create a positive experience for SGR North America community stakeholders by ensuring that customer needs are met on time and within budget while adhering to all company, local, state, and federal regulations. The candidate will also participate in preventative maintenance, operational, environmental health, and safety (EHS), 5S, sustainability and other SGR North America initiatives as required.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a demonstrated understanding of complex industrial/technical operations (preferably a laboratory or R&D environment). This position manages a preventive maintenance program to ensure all required maintenance is performed on building operating systems. Candidate uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document and report on equipment performance and life cycle and uses data to maximize in-house and contractor labor performance and development of budget for expense and capital replacement. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Lead or assist with projects for SGR North America customers: Understand needs of internal customers for space and equipment. Supporting the department’s preventive maintenance and on-demand work order request system; recognizing maintenance and repair problems, developing options for action, and recommending solutions to include preparing work orders, cost implications, sustainability awareness, and energy savings. Customers should be fully informed of all efforts throughout any work order.
  • Lead or assist with campus improvement projects: Under the direction of the Facilities Manager and in conjunction with other Operational teams, lead or assist with campus improvement projects including 5S, sustainability, security, EHS (environmental health and safety) as assigned. Follow and establish SOPs. Develop and implement new systems and processes to achieve reduced operating costs and improved process efficiency.
  • Facility maintenance including CMMS requests: Proactively address routine and non-routine infrastructure maintenance and repair including the grounds.
  • Equipment and material movements throughout the site and to off-site storage. Assist and cover conference room set-ups. Including testing and troubleshooting all audio video issues.
  • Hours and Coverage – Contributing to around-the-clock on-call coverage for all aspects of the Facility Group’s responsibilities. Addressing emergency situations in a timely manner, assessing the situation and impact, diagnosing issue(s), determining proper corrective action, securing replacement parts/materials, coordinating work, utilizing outside vendors as needed, and performing repairs while communicating the situation to site leadership for the duration of the emergency.
  • General Facility Work – Performing any other facility related tasks as deemed necessary by the department manager

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Qualifications:

  • High School or AS Degree with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience, BS Degree with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience, or MS with 2+ years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering or a similar field of study
  • 5+ years of experience in a rigorous EHS environment
  • 5+ years of experience with building, fire, life safety codes, and facility environmental regulations
  • Massachusetts Construction Supervisors license (unrestricted) is preferred 

Competencies

    • Good computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools; and working knowledge of Auto CAD
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate in a clear, effective, and respectful way to all levels of the organization
    • Proven track record of project development and management skills - organization, attention to detail, ability to balance multiple projects concurrently, record keeping, flexibility
    • Experienced in collaborating with outside contractors and agencies to coordinate critical project work within regulatory requirements

Primary Duties:

  • Maintains, repairs and modifies machines
  • Repairs and reconditions hydraulic/pneumatic systems (air lines, solenoids).
  • Inspects, maintains and repairs saws, dryers, mixers, plant systems, mills and conveyors
  • Replaces and repairs electrical equipment/components 110 & 240 volts 3 phase and low voltage motor controls
  • Changes grinding or cutting blades and/or bits
  • Fabricates and welds parts for repair, retrofits and modifications
  • Reviews all required blueprints, drawings and work orders in order to install, troubleshoot and repair desired product, part or system
  • Checks, collects and organizes all parts and tools prior to starting job or assigned task
  • Understand Pedestrian & Mobile Equipment safety in the work area
  • General housecleaning of the work area
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Understand Plant & Distribution Safety Rules

  • Understand and follow all SOPs related to electrical maintenance

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Minimum 5-7 yrs with industrial mechanic background or 2 or more years school/technical training and experience in manufacturing industry
  • Experience working with electrical motors, start/stop circuits, water and vacuum pumps, chain drive systems and lubrication applications
  • Ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated experience with electronic control systems, troubleshooting using control logic schematics, measurement instrumentation, PLC’s, and O&M manuals a plus
  • Must be able to read, interpret, draw materials and build projects from blueprints with limited supervision producing first time quality results
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
  • Ability to do other general building support including minor electrical, plastic, and metal pipe fabrication
  • Ability to perform tasks on plant equipment and systems with minimal supervision and a high level of reliability
  • Basic knowledge of the safe and proper use of shop tools, metal stud framing, drywall, painting, floor repair, concrete repair
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work as a team and interface with other employees
