JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Electrician is accountable for the upkeep and proper functionality of all electrical equipment and systems in the facility while also working alongside technicians to maintain warehouse equipment, the plant, and its infrastructure in a safe and usable condition.

Shift: 1st shift, 6am – 2pm, Mon – Fri

Pay: $34 - $38/hr.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the proper functioning of all electrical units and controls in the facility.
  • Inspecting and diagnosing electrical components: identifying defects, hazards, or need for repair or adjustment to ensure abidance with codes.
  • Print reading: Blueprint, one-line, electrical schematic, ladder logic.
  • Ability to read & program PLC’s, VFD’s (inverter drives).
  • Working knowledge of panel/control wiring and systems.
  • Provide cost estimates and preliminary sketches for services and materials.
  • Monitor critical pieces of equipment, to detect and resolve issues utilizing WCM tools.
  • Recognize conditions that could lead to equipment breakdowns.
  • Proactive completion of scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
  • Keeping abreast of new technology, electrical services, and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of maintenance area (5S) and production areas where maintenance work has taken place.
  • Operate a fork truck, scissors lift and boom lift
  • Completing all tasks as assigned by the supervising manager and attending job training activities.
  • Use materials efficiently with minimal waste.
  • Maintain company tools and equipment in good working condition.

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow all safety rules and plant rules as established in the employee handbook.
  • Follow standard operating procedures- PM schedules, maintenance work orders, etc…
  • Flexible, open minded team player.
  • Supports WCM expansion by participating and adhering to requirements as established by equipment/area sustainment boards.
  • Participate in WCM initiatives, including but not limited to kaizen events, sustainment board launches, SOP writing and Development, Safety “Red” tagging of equipment, etc.
  • Train Production Operators on basics of how equipment works and basic maintenance.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

Works in a plant environment with limited HVAC, concrete floors, and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature changes. May occasionally encounter wet/slippery surfaces. Normal plant operation is 2 shifts, up to 7 days a week, depending on business needs. May require long hours and weekend and holiday work, also depending on business needs.

  • Associate Degree / Diploma; Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical, Industrial Electrician, or related field of study - preferred
  • Electrical Experience; 5-7 years of electrical experience in lieu of associate degree - preferred
  • Electrical Experience in a Manufacturing environment; Solid understanding of 3Ø wiring, ability to run conduit, wire motors, troubleshoot electrical problems - required
  • Machinery Experience;

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Technical Operator will be responsible for successfully operating equipment, evaluating samples, and compiling information and reports. The list of duties includes, but is not limited to:

  • Incumbent will exert an average force of 50 pounds to lift, carry, push, pull, and/or transfer equipment and materials; this role requires considerable walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.

Quality and Process Control Manager

This position is responsible for the leadership and direction of quality systems and process control strategy related to the vinyl siding production process for the Williamsport, MD, plant. BENEFITS IN JOINING US

Certain states require pay information to be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $111,000 to $177,000 per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $127,650.00 to $203,550.00. Bonus payments are part of the variable compensation and, by nature, can vary based on company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

Large Plant Controller

Job Summary

Why do we need you?

This position is primarily responsible for providing financial expertise and analysis support to our Jackson, MI facility.

The plant controller is responsible for all aspects of the financial close, standard costing and financial reporting for the location.  This position should be the go-to individual with plant management to ensure the financial health of the location and assist in managing: inventory levels, cost reduction, capital and spending.  This position also works closely with plant management to ensure proper internal controls are in place in alignment with Saint Gobain requirements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the timely completion of the month-end financial close
  • Demonstrate awareness of all elements of a plant’s financial statements
  • Prepare all post-closing plant financial analysis, performance reports and meaningful commentary
  • Prepare and coordinate the annual budget at the plant level.
  • Prepare, maintain and analyze product standard costs
  • Support the analytical needs of the Regional Controller and other financial management
  • Partner with plant management to increase plant efficiency and profitability
  • Prepare analysis to understand the financial ramifications of current and proposed business actions
  • Identify issues and proactively initiate analyses / solutions to plant issues
  • Ensure compliance with SGC and SPG policies and procedures
  • Oversee and reconcile inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory
  • Assist in preparation of capital appropriations requests
  • Track cost reduction projects and maintain required reporting
  • Ad hoc analysis
  • Support six sigma by verifying results and work with plant management on new projects.

Job Summary

CertainTeed is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional R&D projects that drive innovation in building materials and systems. The Senior Project Manager plays a key role in advancing the strategy to support CertainTeed R&D, and CT business units.
