The assembler is responsible producing quality products to specifications of customers as defined on the product prints and routers. Full participation in activities in the clean room (assembly, heat sealing, cleaning, packing, etc.) to achieve on-time shipment goals and efficiency targets.

 

Essential Functions:

• Read product prints and specifications prior to starting assembly process.

• Follow assembly procedures.

• Fill out all paperwork documenting steps performed, quantities, and quality checks performed.

• Collect components for assembly ensuring lot number traceability.

• Clean components and assemblies with alcohol (IPA).

• Package assemblies in plastic bags and heat seal.

• Perform other related tasks, including but not limited to, performing housekeeping tasks required to keep work areas clean and organized.

• Observe all safety rules and regulations including the wearing of protective equipment when required. Report any accidents and unsafe conditions to management.

• Replenish supplies.

• Must be available for overtime work when necessary.

• Maintain and practice manufacturing procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) - Preferred

Efficient and willingness to perform required work with good attendance and attitude.

Understand SOP's relating to the department activities. Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Must be a team player.

Effective communication skills essential - both written and verbal

​PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires walking, primarily on a level surface throughout the day. May need to climb stairs/steps periodically. May need to stoop or kneel and reach above shoulder heights, below the waist. Lifting as required with proper lifting techniques up to 50 pounds on occasion.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is in a clean room environment where the use of personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes are mandated. Noise levels and temperatures may vary due to areas accessed. There is some exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals such as alcohol.

Production Operator

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

We’re looking for motivated individuals ready to take on a hands-on role in a dynamic production environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate Diversified Equipment: Work with a wide range of machinery, including mixing equipment, dryers, milling and crushing equipment, kilns, vacuum hot presses, furnaces, and powder processing equipment.
  • Ensure Quality & Service: Take pride in manufacturing, inspecting, and packaging products to meet quality standards.
  • Continuous Rotating Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts—including weekends and holidays—with overtime opportunities based on business needs.

Design Engineer

Why do we need you?

The Design Engineer is part of a fast-paced, service-oriented team that provides newly designed abrasive products and solutions for the manufacturing plant and its various external customers. This position focuses on developing automated systems to support the Bonded and Super Abrasives North American Product Design Team.

In this role, you will prepare quotes, engineering drawings, and comprehensive product designs, along with detailed instructions for producing various abrasive products. Technical & Quality Manager

The Technical & Quality Manager will serve as the site’s technical subject matter expert (SME) on process, process controls, and quality testing/standards. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for all quality, analytical, and process-related activities at the plant. The position ensures compliance with industry standards, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and supports both internal teams and external customers in achieving the highest standards of product quality, compliance, and performance.

Commitment to Safety

  • Ensures a safe, compliant workplace by leading by example
  • Applies technical expertise to reduce safety hazards and risks in the plant

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant product specifications, ASTM, and UL standards.
  • Oversee raw material quality programs, including incoming inspections, testing, and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
  • Manage and maintain quality management systems, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce plant quality policies, procedures, and standards.

Enhanced Product Quality

  • Apply specialized expertise in quality and process control to ensure products meet stringent quality standards, reducing defects and improving reliability.
  • Leverage customer-facing role to capture the Voice of the Customer (VOC), address pain points, and ensure products always meet Fitness for Use (FFU).

Process Control & Efficiency

  • Act as the site’s technical SME for manufacturing processes, process controls, and product testing.
  • Identify inefficiencies in production, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements that reduce waste and increase productivity.
  • Lead process capability initiatives by supervising process engineers, with the goal of reducing variation and minimizing disruptions that affect output and product quality.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion the identification and deployment of best practices across the plant and broader organization.
  • Oversee all trials for process improvement, raw materials, and new products. Includes pre-trial coordination, training, post-trial testing, and wrap-up report. 
  • Support troubleshooting of complex technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions.

Customer Engagement & Support

  • Serve as the primary technical resource to Sales teams for product performance, quality issues, and customer complaints.
  • Participate in customer site visits, technical discussions, and joint problem-solving activities.

Employee Training & Development

  • Provide training and mentorship to staff on quality standards, procedures, and process control methodologies.
  • Build a skilled workforce capable of sustaining high performance in quality and process management.

Leadership & KPI Management

  • Lead and develop the Technical & Quality team, ensuring training, coaching, and performance management are in place.
  • Monitor quality KPIs, report performance trends, and implement corrective measures when targets are not met.
  • Quality & Process Control Pillar Leader

Is this job for you?

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred 
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in manufacturing quality or process engineering, preferably in building products or the roofing industry, is required
  • Strong knowledge of ASTM/UL standards, quality systems, and process control methodologies (SPC, Six Sigma, etc.) is required
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage customer-facing technical discussions is required

EHS Coordinator

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with employees on risk assessment, incident reporting and work with supervisors/managers on control measures and corrective action plans.
  • Lead EHS onboarding sessions for new employees and contractors on site.
  • Support the deployment, review of SG Health & Safety Standards (SMATs, CRs, etc.) on 4orms and Safety Plus.
  • Actively participate in the Joint Health & Safety Committee activities, including workplace inspections, documenting meeting minutes and updates to the health & safety board.
  • Help organize EHS events such as campaigns, training sessions, and EHS Day.
  • Coordinate and facilitate various occupational hygiene sampling, respiratory protection and noise conservation program.
  • Assist with development, review of EHS site-specific procedures and monitor compliance.
  • Record keeping and documentation (inspection records, permits, training records and matrix, incident reports, etc.) to ensure compliance with legal and internal standards.
  • Assist with environmental compliance by collecting data and liaising with consultants and government agencies.

Why do we need you?

The Human Resources Technology Manager is responsible for managing a team of HR Technology professionals supporting Saint-Gobain North America’s current and future state HR systems and deployment of Workday. The manager is responsible for supporting leadership’s strategic and tactical objectives while ensuring a successful delivery aligned with project objectives. Benefits in joining us

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $111,000 to $177,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

 

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $127,650 to $203,550. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
