The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) reports to the District Manager and coordinates sales activities within the territory, creating added value for the customer with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the account plans and growth actions
  • Define sales targets for the account, and ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow-up process across utilizing a Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM)
  • Provide solutions for their businesses that are in line with volume, mix and profitability targets
  • Monitor competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken
  • Build long-term relationships with customers ensuring that service needs are fulfilled
  • Network through active participation in industry association events and committee assignments
  • Actively work with other departments including manufacturing and logistics to ensure customer service needs are met
  • Identifies bottlenecks in service delivery and works within the Company to resolve issues
  • Coordinates sales activities with team members in business development and application specialists

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Relevant Field
  • Knowledge and experience using MS Office tools and CRM’s
  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales or operational role in construction and concrete

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Recent bachelor’s degree in Concrete Industry Management (CIM), Construction Science Management/Construction Management
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or Relevant Field

Precast Concrete Specialist - Remote Texas, Construction Chemicals

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Precast Concrete Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting existing precast business, managing key precast accounts, as well as developing and pursuing new business to grow our overall sales, profitability.

This position also serves as our technical precast expert internally and externally to our customers and represents us in the precast industry.

Develop and Secure New Business

  • Develop and manage new opportunity pipeline
  • Develop strategies for specific opportunities, in conjunction with local teams
  • Establish value propositions and prepare internal analysis to determine pricing, rebates, etc.
  • Manage process through full conversion with local teams

Maintain and Support Existing Business

  • Manage existing accounts and help Technical Sales Rep stay engaged

  • Develop and maintain relationships at executive and mid-level management (often done at industry organization meetings)
  • Serve as secondary point-of-contact

Provide Technical Support & Activities (Existing & New Business)

  • Conduct field and products trials
  • Develop mix designs
  • Conduct Technical Process Reviews (TPRs)
  • Provide mix and overall production optimization
  • Training, help customers in trouble shooting and solving technical problems such as out-of-spec issues (e.g. air and strength)

Industry Engagement

  • Position Chryso/GCP, Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals brands, as the leading innovator and knowledgeable chemical company in the precast industry via participation and contributions (e.g. making presentations, writing articles, conducting training sessions, working on committees, leading industry projects, groups, etc.)
  • Attend/exhibit/present at tradeshows to develop relationships and a pipeline of new customer opportunities, as well as reinforce relationships with existing customers and support the industry
  • Be actively engaged with industry organizations by becoming voting members on committees, boards of directors, and leading and participated in initiatives

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or accredited GED General Studies
  • 7+ years of experience In the precast concrete industry
  • PCI Level I/II, NPCA PQS level 1 certified 1 year

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, Construction, CIM or Business
  • Experience in positions of production, quality control, or engineering in the precast concrete industry
  • Experience in Technical sales involving customer relations, acquisition of new customers, account management, with a proven record of sales growth

Maintenance & EHS Technician

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Maintenance & EHS Technician is responsible for building and grounds maintenance and repair, execution and upkeep of the PM/RM program, equipment repair/ overhaul, troubleshooting, installation of new equipment to include validating specifications and coordination with outside suppliers, modifications to existing equipment, and preventative and predictive maintenance of production machines.

This role is responsible for carrying out assigned EHS tasks including inspections, audits and ensuring maintenance compliance with regulatory agency requirements.

Working safely at all times, semi autonomously to autonomously, on projects, preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electrical systems. This position requires the ability to read mechanical prints, diagrams, facility blueprints, and proficiency with computers and associated programs.

Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for planning and performing routine preventative maintenance and inspection on equipment per SOP’s.
  • Maintain and repair industrial pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical equipment, including hydraulic and mechanical presses, welding machines, roll forming equipment, etc.
  • Troubleshoot to the piece part level; recommend and perform required repairs, including part requisition and replacement, with minimal impact to shop productivity.
  • Supports EHS activities and requirements including but not limited to inspections, employee training, sharing best practices, maintaining compliance with regulatory agency requirements and audits
  • Communicates and collaborates with facilities leadership, manufacturing engineers, external vendors and contractors, and/or other production operators to resolve production issues.
  • Light industrial fabrication and part fabrication ability.
  • Works safely and cleanly at all times and demonstrates high level of safety competence and awareness (e.g., Lock Out Tag Out procedures).
  • Supports site sustainability and energy conservation policies and projects.
  • Performs other duties, including buildings and grounds maintenance, as assigned.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

High school education or equivalent required. Trade school graduate or some college preferred.

A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in machine repair/maintenance or related technical experience is required. Experience with mechanical and hydraulic presses, welding and die forming are preferred.

Must be able to read, speak and understand work instructions in English. Multi-lingual a plus.

Must be able to read and research electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics and parts diagrams.

Must have good math skills.

Working knowledge of PLC’s, troubleshooting, and program maintenance is preferred.

Experience in EHS field / role is preferred.

Flexible in approach and being able to support site production as needed is required. For example, occasional evening or weekend work.

Work independently and as part of a team with a sense of drive and urgency.

Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, moving and stationary equipment is required.

Valid drivers licence is required.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $28.00 to $35.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $64.064.00 to $80,000.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.]

Essentials of Sales Development Program- Inside Sales Representative

Today is an exciting time to be in Sales. The Essentials of Sales (EOS) Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for leveraging customer engagement opportunities (leads) from both inbound and outbound interactions to identify, develop, document, and appropriately route sales opportunities to product sales teams. They will proactively promote CertainTeed products and research elements and commercial lead generation. They will gain a knowledge base and strong communication of all CertainTeed products and promotions. Representatives will also be expected to collaborate with the managers and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are constantly being met.

Development Program Completion

Upon the successful completion of the program, the EOS Inside Sales Representatives will work with HR and the Sales Training Manager and Inside Sales Manager to explore available opportunities within one of our 12 sales regions in the US such as the Associate Territory Manager 18 month program, or other roles within Saint-Gobain. Those not able to find another role at the end of a successful completion of the program may qualify for a completion bonus if eligibility requirements are met.

Hourly Maintenance Supervisor

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Supervises the daily activities of skilled maintenance personnel and assists with maintenance project work as assigned. Provides leadership in safety, quality, housekeeping and cost reduction. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Organize and structure planned and unplanned repairs and preventive maintenance routines in a manner that will ensure efficient operation of equipment and plant operating systems. • Directly supervise the hourly skilled maintenance employees in the improvement and maintenance of plant equipment, buildings, machinery, utilities, etc • Communicate expectations, measure and assess employee performance, provide coaching and development opportunities of maintenance crews. NATURE & SCOPE OF POSITION: • Provides input into planning and scheduling of projects. • Responsible for planning, evaluating, organizing, and implementing assigned installation, maintenance and repair activities and coordinating with other departments to assure minimum downtime for production and maximum safety of employees. • Performs root cause analysis as well as implements sustainable countermeasures on losses related to maintenance. • Ensures Preventive Maintenance (PM) is accomplished in a timely manner and are to a high standard of quality. • Be an active member of the Reliability pillar and manage project work related to it. • Protect confidential information as directed. • Work with Maintenance Manager to develop PM’s that drive improved reliability. • Develops and maintains standard operating and maintenance procedures, and work instructions. • Maintains records of plant and individual equipment performance. • Responsible for improving the reliability of the production equipment. • Report all EH&S incidents – Injuries/Recordables, Near Misses, First Aid, Environmental and Property/Equipment Damage. • Conduct monthly SMAT Audits and weekly PM audits. • Ensure direct reports are up to date on concerns and observations. • Address and close out assigned concerns in a timely manner. • Be available to respond to after- hours calls and come in during off shifts if necessary. • Ensure adherence to Waste Management and Recycling responsibilities. • Participate in Incident & Near Miss Investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions. • Participate in the development, understanding and review of all position JSA and SOP’s. • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Requires a technical diploma or degree in the fields of engineering or manufacturing, including; mechanical, electrical, industrial that provides a thorough knowledge of the skills utilized in manufacturing improvement activities. Equivalent experience will be considered. Requires change management, methodical/analytical problem solving and employee leadership skills with the ability to effectively apply those skills in a manufacturing facility in a leadership capacity. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization. High level of knowledge and understanding of computer systems and programs, especially proficient in Microsoft Office applications, e-mail and Internet access navigation. Supervisory experience and 5-7 prior years of related work experience in a lean manufacturing environment preferred. 5+ years of experience building and leading teams with a track record of success, along with the ability to develop and implement action plans. Working knowledge of electrical systems a plus. Ability to lead small to medium sized cross functional teams under high pressure environments. Demonstrated high performance history, proven ability to execute and get results. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001, is a plus, including continual improvement tools such as Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma. The Extrusion Operator will safely operate extrusion machines, feeding raw material into machine to create medical-grade tubing and profiles, per detailed drawings, attribute specifications, and routing notes. Must perform dimensional inspections to ensure product is extruded in accordance with the provided specifications using micrometers, calipers, tape measure, pi tape, optical comparator, and other measuring tools.   • Safely produce silicone extruded products and practice trouble shooting processes with limited supervision.

  • Proficient in the use of general computer programs and current industrial technology including QAD, MQ1, and FACTIVITY.
  • Perform designated job functions adhering to standards as defined by SOP’s, MOP’s, ISO standards, & GMP.
  • Proficient in the safe use of power and hand tools for defined processes.

  • Able to perform general math equations, knowledge of metric and standard systems, complete accurate documentation, multi-task, and stand for multiple hours.
